Overview
The Associate Director of Partnerships will find and engage potential partners for tablets projects through industry publications, global conferences, existing relationships and any other lucrative and worthwhile channels. Working with universities, NGOs, governments, and more, the Partnerships Coordinator will explain Rumie’s offering and how it could meet their needs. This person will own the early portion of the deployment process (prospecting, approaching, conducting initial meetings and demos) before handing off relationships to our distribution lead to formalize and execute the deployment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how to prioritize based on return on investment, great communication skills, an understanding of Rumie’s model and mission, and some sales experience. An understanding of the ‘BANT’ framework for identifying leads is also necessary.
Initial Responsibilities

Leverage and maximize existing opportunities

Seek deployment leads through various sources (i.e. conferences, events, referrals, word-of-mouth)

Meet with potential deployment partners as the first point of contact to explain Rumie’s offering

Vet the partner’s capabilities to assess whether it is a worthwhile fit for Rumie

Identify the partner’s deployment needs and deliver them if possible
-
Walk partners through the deployment process and assist them in creating an initial project plan before handing off the planning process
