We have projects that span both Ruby and Node tech stacks. A background in both is desired but depth in the Ruby stack is required.

You should be a leader and doer who has the the ability mentor a team through code reviews, and can ensure that we are building efficient, reusable abstractions.

Ideally, you are a self-starter who is clever, tireless and dedicated. Coding is your first love, and have the a GitHub portfolio to back that statement up. Poorly written code makes you grind your teeth. Your pride causes you to regularly put in extra time rather than develop a substandard product.
