Overview

The IT Operations Manager will play a critical role in delivering increased scale and improved efficiency that further drives company growth through enhanced business automation employee self-service. The successful candidate in this hands-on, cross-functional role will partner with multiple stakeholders across the business to lead the development and implementation of numerous cross-functional and intra-departmental systems as well as Movable Ink’s business continuity and information security strategy.

Responsibilities of the IT Operations Manager:

• Partner with internal business owners to institute service-level policies and programs for improved delivery, accountability and satisfaction for both inbound and outbound requests
• Drive standardization and rationalize spending across all internal business platforms and procedures with a strong focus on software-as-a-service (SaaS) and cloud-based solutions
• Design and lead the implementation of a company-wide enterprise security strategy for network and hardware security, data protection, and information access across all major systems
• Re-architect and redeploy existing back office systems including billing automation, accounting, and real-time reporting and analytics capabilities for each department
• Implement standard processes across each department for requirements identification, vendor evaluation, and systems deployments

Basic Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience in Infrastructure Operations, Systems Engineering or as an advanced Systems Administrator in a SaaS environment
• 2+ years experience with ERP systems implementation and/or large scale integrations
• Proven experience in user and systems administration with an emphasis on data protection and information access / security
• Proven project management skills and a strong ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-tech stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enterprise SaaS industry experience strongly preferred
• Working experience in a large tech startup environment
• Advanced degree and/or systems certifications a huge plus
