Overview

Our QA Tester will help with black-box testing our web and mobile apps. We’re a small company so we may also take advantage of other skills you have to offer (automated testing, scripting, documentation, etc.) We will consider entry-level candidates for this role. This role will start as a full-time, contract role lasting two to three months.

About you:

You’re detail-oriented, nitpicky, and can focus on tasks for long periods of time. You have ambitions for a career as a QA professional, or perhaps you’re looking at Product Management or Software Development and are looking for a foot in the door.

Responsibilities:

• Write test cases

• Perform regression and performance tests

• Perform black-box user testing on new product modules and versions

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent

• Prior experience in a tech-related field

• Some programming or scripting skills are a plus

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Fluency with general Windows, Mac, and smartphone/tablet operation

• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Selenium, or databases is a plus

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco
