The BioDigital Human is a comprehensive digital 3D human body accessible through the Web and mobile apps – think Google Earth meets the human body. This tight-knit team of engineers, 3D animators, scientists, and entrepreneurs is passionately working to solve real-world problems.

 

BioDigital is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help build its flagship product, a cutting-edge 3D web application, the BioDigital Human.  The ideal candidate has intimate knowledge of the latest web technologies and a strong desire to build a high-quality, scalable web app that will revolutionize the health and medical sectors.  If you’re passionate about technology, interested in experiencing a fast paced start-up environment and would like to make a positive impact this is a great opportunity.

 

Responsibilities

• Leverage the BioDigital Human API to build real world examples for other developers

• Work with senior developers to contribute new features to the front-end or middle tier

• System test point releases as needed

• Help develop applications for health and medical customers

• Assist with improvements to native iOS and Android apps (if interested in mobile development)

 

Qualifications

• Passion for working at the intersection of technology and health, and a desire to build a cutting-edge health visualization platform

• Highly motivated, curious, able to work both independently and with a team, and hungry to succeed

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Working towards a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Experience with Python, Java, Perl, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, MySQL or similar technology

• Interest in the latest state-of-the-art programming technologies
