VP of Product – Job Description

Ampush is a fast-growing advertising technology company that helps mobile, brand and direct response advertisers meet their objectives on Facebook and Twitter. As a top Facebook Ads Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer (sPMD), we power fully-managed solutions for brands and direct response advertisers across travel, e-commerce, financial services, entertainment, and CPG. Ampush is based in San Francisco with offices in Chicago and New York.

 

As our VP of Product, you will lead Ampush to achieve its potential as a world class product organization and help the company build the world’s best native advertising software platform. You will guide the focus on three major pillars:

People

• Work closely with the Ampush Executives and assist in building a company-wide culture that unleashes product innovation and success

• Grow, manage, coach, and mentor a team of Product Managers

• Collaborate with Engineering leadership to bring inspiration and business context to a talented Engineering team and ultimately work with them to drive results <span

• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders including key stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, and Media Analytics depts) to get buy-in and create virtuous cycles around product and overall business success

Process

• Take stock of industry opportunity, competitive landscape, business goals, and product roadmap, and aid Product and Engineering teams to define an optimal software development process

• Drive adoption of process from key stakeholders and ultimately show demonstrable results in quality and velocity of product outputs <span

• Continue to refine and iterate process based on learnings and overall evolution of the company

Product

• Immerse yourself in the native advertising ecosystem, which sits at the center of major internet trends – mobile, e-commerce, social, the app economy – and work with Product and Leadership to define a winning product strategy and roadmap <span

• Oversee the development and maintenance of a product backlog with specifications and prioritization reflective of the business and product vision <span

• Possess ultimate ownership and accountability of the overall product and ongoing product development
