What you’ll do:

Work with our Lead Generation team to manage the complete sales process from prospect to close; including cold calling, product demonstrations via Go-to-Meeting, proposals and sales contracts.

Consistently meet/exceed sales quota.

Immerse yourself in the education technology landscape and product knowledge, and contribute to Schoology’s strategic growth.

Occasional travel to trade shows may be required.
Experience & Qualifications you’ll need to succeed:

2+ years of experience selling with a proven track record of success. Experience in the Education market helpful, but not required.

Ability to succeed within a high volume sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines and closing business.

Consistently described as fast learning, organized and independent.

Resourceful and diligent in maintaining CRM data. Salesforce CRM experience preferred, but not required.

Competitive drive to beat targets, positive attitude and incredible work ethic.

Top-notch communication, articulation and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

4-year college degree (BA/BS) required.

Flexibility to work on different time zone schedules.
