zeotap builds a global technology platform which leverages the power of data from telecommunication companies for data-driven mobile advertising. The startup is headquartered in Berlin and will have offices in SF/Silicon Valley and Seoul.


About the job:

  • You create and execute new sales strategies – working with all major Mobile Network Operators in North America (helping them to generate incremental revenues with our services)
  • You build, develop and manage key customer relationships with decision makers and key people with influence to maximize sales opportunities: you manage the B2B sales processes from lead generation to contract signature for dedicated accounts
  • You set up contracts and guide carriers through the commercial, legal and technical discussions that lead to the establishment of the partnership; this include creating business models, technical implementation roadmaps and managing communications in a complex, multi-level environment
  • Your location will be either San Francisco / Silicon Valley and/or home office


Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B service or solution sales (opportunity identification and deal progressing, negotiation and deal closing), ideally selling to the telecoms industry
  • Strong network with key decision makers from North American MNOs (preferably in Big Data / Analytics / Digital Marketing teams)
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly in a complex sales environment plus strong interpersonal sales skills
  • Independent with a high degree of self-motivation/entrepreneurial drive
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English and, ideally, German and a third language
  • Willing to work in a fast-growing global market environment
  • Willing to travel (60% of work time)
