Overview
The Taproot Foundation is seeking an organized, creative and detail-oriented student to join us as a Product/Taproot+ Fellow as part of the product team. This role is designed for someone interested in learning technical product management and growth hacking in an extremely entrepreneurial nonprofit organization. He/she will support a wide variety of product development functions such as process design, triaging user inquiries, and user testing. The role reports directly to the lead product manager of Taproot+.Our ideal candidate is a graduate student interested in gaining experience within the nonprofit sector or in cross-sector collaboration, with a passion for creatively using technology to address the growing pro bono market. This position is a great match for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Support the Taproot+ product management lifecycle
- Assist Taproot+ team with day-to-day program management activities such as
- Product and program evaluation
- Proposal review and assessment
- Client management
- Research customer development as needed
- Collaborate with Taproot+ Team to optimize high level web navigation experience (navigating Taproot+ and taprootfoundation.org)
- Assist Taproot+ and Advisory Services teams in discovery of corporate solutions for Taproot+
- Develop case studies of the user experience on Taproot+
- Define and execute strategies for recruiting skilled volunteers for Taproot+
- Other duties as requested
- Enrolled in a graduate program, or has a Bachelor’s degree and minimum one-year work experience
- Can commit to least 20 hours/week (preferably 35)
- A strong interest in product development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as a member of a team
- Proficient in working with Google drive and Office suite
