Our Front-End engineering team works on a rich, complex client-side application. At VMTurbo, engineers don’t just get handed specs and mocks to build — we work in an iterative and collaborative way with Product and Design to create the best possible user experience.

• Write fast, reusable, testable UI components
• Develop prototypes quickly
• Work with product managers and designers to build new features
• Lead development of features with cross-functional teams
• Improve the quality, performance, and stability of frontend codebases

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Ember.js and AngularJS
• Detailed understanding of cross browser support issues
• Excellent communication skills
• BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Development experience in a lower level language (C/C++ or Java).
• Deep experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
