Key Task
To provide an exceptional estimating service to our customers. To assist in developing the activities of the group by highlighting new market opportunities.
Routine Tasks / Responsibilities
To carry our accurate manual and/or computerised Vehicle Damage Assessment, including: –
Selection of correct repair methods;
Production of priced repair estimates for all types of repairs;
Making correct allowance for relevant parts, materials and paint types, in full accordance with professional standards of workmanship and vehicle road worthiness.

To liaise with customers and work providers to ensure appropriate and timely authorisation or other instructions are received for all jobs, including write-off vehicles, and to report and obtain authorisation for all apparent other faults or other work that is found to be required.
To ensure that the identity of the customer is established prior to informing them of any details. Specific questions should be asked to verify identity as follows;
