Justly – UX/UI Design Lead

About the Role

Excellent opportunity to join Justly at an early stage where you can make a huge impact and have a critical role in product development.  We are seeking a UX/UI designer in New York to work closely with the product development team, led by Justly’s founders, to develop and implement his/her vision for our app interface and client-side feature set. You will lead the UI/UX design and dev for the alpha version of our software and go on to become a core member of the team.

 

What you will do

• Define the end-to-end user experience

• Sketch ideas into wireframes

• Run the end-to-end design process including all deliverables: user flows, wireframes, mockups, and delivery of product assets

• Scope design initiatives and manage work items

• Design cutting edge UX/UI

• Design layouts and provide UI components such as iconography, graphical elements and navigation tools

• Build responsive design

• Write design guidelines & documentation

• Excel in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to achieve product objectives

What you need for this role

• An eye for design

• Strong UX/UI design experience in a startup environment for web and mobile

• Experience designing for B2B

• Demonstrated capabilities in responsive design

• Proficiency in creating wireframes and designs, and presenting them to the product team

• Solid background in design usability best practices and emerging usability trends

• Proficiency in creating responsive websites using HTML and CSS (and ideally Javascript)

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of an agile team

• An exceptional portfolio of work

• Strong leadership and capability of taking on ultimate responsibility and driving projects forward

• Thoroughness and attention to detail

• Polish, excellent oral and written communication skills and a dedicated work ethic

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT an online or digital portfolio of work demonstrating past experience including wireframes and UI design implementations for the web or mobile clients.
