Thinkingbox Toronto is in search of an Senior Web Developer to join our Development team. Weʼre looking for an energetic developer, who has strong, professional leadership skills with hands-on experience. As a seasoned developer, you’re a black-belt in JavaScript, frameworks, CSS, HTML, and an overall user interface wizard. In addition, you’re a solid ASP.Net/C# developer, comfortable writing back-end SOA/REST functions to support front-end requirements.  You have a passion for working with the latest architectures to deliver the highest quality product in the market. You live, eat and breathe this stuff. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining web-based solutions 
• Experience with every phase of the software development lifecycle 
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, RequireJS 
• Experience designing and building enterprise systems in JavaScript 
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming concepts 
• Experience with various frameworks such as Knockout, Backbone, or AngularJS 
• 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree (preferred), or equivalent experience 

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure 
• Familiarity with a variety of database technologies such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, or Redis 
• Mobile development experience on iOS, Android or Windows Phone/Surface 
• Knowledge of social media APIs such as Facebook or Twitter
• Sense of humour
