In this role you’ll get a crash-course in what it’s like behind the scenes at a real, high-growth startup. You will work closely with the CEO and COO on strategic partnerships, and sustainably bringing our initiative across Ontario within the next three years. The size and quality of our team will increase quickly, and you will need to effectively manage your own team.

First you’ll learn how to hunt: prospecting, cold calling, building pitch scripts. Then you’ll farm: making pitch decks, developing marketing materials, and closing deals. You will learn quickly about online sales, managing logistics, securing financing, managing strategic partnerships, while helping lead our expansion into selling in the U.S market.

We’re growing too quickly to have you sit behind the scenes, we need someone who isn’t afraid to dive in and immediately start creating value. We need the right team to help continue the growth and impact we wish to have. We don’t need another employee, we need another partner; and you will be if you execute.  

About Textbooks for Change

Textbooks for Change collects textbook donations from post-secondary institutions across Ontario. Close to 50% of textbooks collected are sent to African universities in dire need of this educational material. The other portion is recycled or sold online affordably to students across North America. When textbooks are sold net proceeds are split between sustainably running Textbooks for Change and giving back in two additional ways. Delivering micro finance loans to entrepreneurs across the world, and distributing proceeds back to socially purposed student clubs.
