I have an immediate need for a talented Systems Administrator. This is a 6 month  contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Winston-Salem, NC.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
This is a technical position whose purpose is to define, determine suitability, and implement new network technology.
Coordinate with the vendors, business units, and information systems.
The Sr. Network Analyst will provide technical support from a hands-on position, on all configuration, installation, problem isolation/resolution issues, encompassing all IP Telephony, LAN/WAN data and video network equipment.
Responsible for system engineering including network assessment, development, integration, test and implementation
Perform product evaluations and engineering trade studies, and make recommendations to Customers
Provide technical consulting and leadership to all network service staff
Configure and manage Cisco Call Managers, Unity Voice Mail and UCCX Call Center
Systems
Monitor and maintain IP Telephony infrastructure equipment
Monitor and maintain IP Telephony health and performance
Maintain IP Telephony documentation
Utilize network management tools
Provide Level 2 technical support to Customer Support, Desktop Support Group, and internal Network Services staff
Isolate and resolve complex IP Telephony-related service calls and problems
Research new products and potential solutions
Must have BS Degree in related technical discipline (i.e. BSEE, BSCS) or equivalent
CCNP Voice certified
Minimum 7-8 years of stable, progressive experience implementing, troubleshooting, and engineering IP Telephony infrastructure for large-scale corporate networks
Extensive experience with Cisco IP Telephony with technical proficiency in MPLS, broadband, T1/T3, PRI and OCx
Understanding of Policy Based routing, QOS and the ability to troubleshoot complex IP Telephony problems using diagnostic tools such as network analyzers
Advanced troubleshooting and problem isolation skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, and Visio
Project management skills
