Interlude is looking for a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager with a passion for music, entertainment and technology, to help growing one of the most innovative startups. In this role, you will lead the company’s direct marketing and social media strategy, with the goal of creating excitement around Interlude’s interactive video offering, driving qualified users, and retaining them within the Interlude’s network. Your mission: define, develop, and manage marketing strategy and programs to promote the viewership of Interlude’s bespoke videos, specifically in the music space.

  • Social media strategy: develop and execute a social media strategy to reach and engage our target audience where they are the most active. This involves defining unique plans for each specific channel (E.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr and Snapchat)
  • Retention and engagement: work with the Director of Product Marketing on audience segmentation and CRM strategy, including but not limited to web and mobile retargeting, email marketing and mobile push notifications
  • Paid user acquisition: test and manage (directly or in partnership with external agencies) CPC, CPV and SEO campaigns to drive organic and paid quality traffic to the Interlude network
  • Music marketing: nurture within the music and entertainment spaces through content marketing, creative community outreach and events
  • Assets creation: develop compelling marketing assets to bring your campaigns to life, autonomously and in partnership with the creative team (blog posts, trailers and other types of rich media assets)
  • Campaigns reporting: manage and measure channel, cohort, and stage effectiveness to maximize user acquisition at minimal expense. Use insights to develop a repeatable process for demand generation, from awareness to conversion
  • Marketing support: support the marketing team with marketing activities, as needed
Key Requirements:
  • Passion for interactive video and immersive storytelling
  • 4-7 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing and audience development of web and mobile properties.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with common tools for marketing funnel management (e.g. Hubspot, Eloqua, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Positive, can do attitude and sense of humor are a must
  • Has previously worked in a startup environment
  • B.S., MBA highly desired
