Technical Writer

We are building a platform to shake up the travel industry. Our core technology stack uses PHP which powers some of the our most important services such as Search and Supplier Integration. We are looking for an experienced Tech Writer to produce technical documentation to be displayed on the web and on paper, such as SDK documentation, how-to, FAQ, READ ME, and Release Notes.

Responsibilities:

• This is a Full Time position

• Produce documentation with technical specifications for software applications

• Collaborate with software engineers and designers in constructing documents

• Explain scientific and technical ideas into simpler language

• Study drawings, diagrams, wireframes, designs and specifications

• Work closely with the largest tour and activity operators

• Learn the backbone of the travel industry and face the challenges of a truly global, multilingual and multi-currency ecommerce platform

Skills Needed:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training

• Must have strong technical writing and oral communication skills

• Must produce well written and designed software specifications

• Must be detailed oriented and be well organized

• Speaking multiple languages is a plus

• Knowledge of PHP is a plus

• Knowledge with Rest API is a plus

• Experience working with a startup

• Bonus for experience working in Travel tech company like Expedia, Sabre, Travelport, Hotels.com, Travelocity, AirBNB etc

COMPENSATION

Full-time salary starting at $75K based on experience and equity compensation plan.
