Connected Lab is a rapidly growing Toronto-based software engineering firm. We’re helping global brands and VC-backed start-ups launch applications for new hardware such as mobile, wearables, smart TVs, and connected cars. You’ll be working with an extremely talented team that has past experience building products for Facebook, Uber, Salesforce, Instagram, the NFL and many more.

We’re positioning ourselves to be the global leader in building `connected device’ experiences. We utilize modern development frameworks and rapid prototyping tools. Some of the platforms we develop software for include the following: iOS, Android, Wearables, Smart TVs, Desktop, and Digital Fabrication tools.

We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage prospective customers. You will provide complete and appropriate software solutions for prospective customers in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

The successful candidate must be passionate about innovation, selling, and consumer electronics. You will be responsible for generating and growing revenue with a strong focus on new account development. You must have the ability to react quickly to sales opportunities while managing regular sales activities.


  • Research, prospect and establish leads in telephone solicitation, networking, and other lead generating activities
  • Actively develop and maintain a sales funnel consisting of qualified prospects
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to decision makers while effectively communicating the company value proposition
  • Perform cost-­benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to drive customer retention
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes in a specified timeframe
  • Track sales and status report using a CRM Reporting tool such as Salesforce
  • Build and maintain solid long-standing relationships based on trust, integrity, and exceptional service


  • Experience selling disruptive technology to Senior Executives at Fortune 500 companies, specifically Consumer Electronic brands
  • Highly motivated and proven track-record of meeting sales goals and targets
  • Ability to effectively manage a long sales cycle from lead generation to a successful close
  • Creative in finding ways around sales barriers and converting opponents into champions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Adept at sourcing relevant data and building business case models to advance ideas
  • Bachelor’s degree
