Overview
The Candidate:
This position will be based in New York, where you will work closely with the marketing, retail and product teams reporting to Head of Marketing. You will lead product marketing initiatives for Quirky.com and partner programs. You will serve as a liaison between Marketing, Sales and Product/Design, You’ll collaborate closely with others on the marketing team including Strategic Partnerships, Experiential, Digital/Social Media, Retail, Advertising and PR in order to develop compelling buzz-worthy marketing launch plans, which drive brand value, increase revenue, and support the Quirky story.
The Job:

Develop and execute consumer-focusing product launch plans that elevate the market potential and consumer appeal for Quirky products/product lines

Work with the Quirky GM’s to create product marketing plans for their business unit

Work with cross-functional team in the development of all launch communication materials, including digital presence, PR, consumer promotions, in-store displays, and point of purchase materials

Act as brand lead for all hero product retail marketing programs, collaborating with the Retail Team to develop product marketing plans that are consistent with overall Quirky marketing strategies, consumer target and brand positioning

Work with internal cross-functional partners including Experiential, Strategic Partnerships, Digital/Social Media, Design, Community, Advertising, PR, Sales and Legal, in order to effectively execute cohesive, holistic, consumer-facing product launches
The Qualifications:

5+ years marketing and brand-building experience in traditional and non-traditional client marketing organizations, preferably on image-focused brands

You love the world of new products and have experience in new product development

You have deep experience in executing successful consumer and retail product launches

You are versatile and comfortable working across multiple product categories and price-points, for a range of different retailers and consumers

You possess excellent communication, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities

You have the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, non-process oriented environment

You are detail-oriented, highly organized and can bring discipline to the existing team
