Overview
Our team is seeking a highly organized, motivated and social-media savvy individual to run ads on social media sites for our diverse network of clients. This position will be performance oriented, managing campaigns to deliver against important metrics and client expectations. The Social Media Ad Strategist will be responsible for managing Facebook ads, advising internal departments on which ads will help each client reach their goal (Likes, Engagement, CTR, CPC, CPA, etc.), and assisting on other projects as needed.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Trafficking, managing, and optimizing Facebook advertising campaigns
- Managing ads on other social networks, as needed
- Will use performance data and client reporting as a tool to make ongoing recommendations and suggestions to optimize results
- Creating mock-up ads for client to review and approve
- Advising internal departments on appropriate ad spend and targeting
- Mid-campaign and end of campaign reporting
- Assists Social Media Strategists with content curation and reporting, as needed
- Perform regular audits of all social ads and social sites
- Advise, as appropriate, our marketing, sales and client services team on emerging strategies, trends, and channels
- Fulfill requests in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 2-4 years experience in social media, including managing Facebook ads
- Either a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in related field
- Knowledge of social media best practices
- Working familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Instagram & Pinterest
- Experience trafficking and monitoring display ads is a plus
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to produce clean, compelling ad copy
- Very strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of social media monitoring and measurement tools
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and self-motivate in a growing, fast paced environment
