WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Work with counterparts in the business units, product development, product management, user experience, design, quality engineering, and analytics to develop and maintain the PerformLine product suite
- Support engineering efforts across all product lines
- Architecture, design and code reviews for development team
- Establish coding standards as well as unit test frameworks usage and standards to optimize re-usable codebase
- Ensure releases can be reliably planned, scheduled and successfully transitioned (deployed) to live environments
- Hands-on technical leadership, contributing to the development of product enhancements and technology frameworks
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5-7 years of experience working with scripting language (preferably Python and Django)
- 5-7 years of experience working with Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
- 5-7 years of development of large scale Internet-based applications
- BS in Computer Science
- Strong CS fundamentals
- Solutions-oriented mindset to resolve n-tier engineering issues
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, etc)
- Experience working with traditional RDBMS.
- Understanding of system admin function in a Unix/Linux server environment
- Experience working with Chef, Puppet, shell scripting, or other configuration management tools in a UNIX environment
- Experience building and operating high-availability clusters for PostgreSQL, Varnish, Apache, Redis, Celery, etc.
- Familiarity with fraud or compliance solutions is a plus
