Do you aspire to be a CEO one day? Are you interested in learning how to build a business from scratch? Are you interested in working directly with a CEO and a company’s executive team?

We are looking for energetic, self-starters who are recent graduates or students with a flexible schedule to join our rapidly growing company.

As the CEO’s Apprentice, you’ll be working directly under Alicia Yoon, the founder and CEO of Peach and Lily, a very quickly growing, funded and successful beauty startup.

You will be at the heart of the Executive team, directly supporting on strategic ideation, getting your hands on executing an idea and bringing it to life, growing sales, and providing structure to the Executive and the company as a whole.

Peach and Lily: Peach and Lily is the premiere destination to discover and shop Asian beauty. Peach and Lily curates the best beauty brands from Korea and Japan and sells products through their own direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform (www.peachandlily.com) and through their distribution business selling to retailers like Sephora, Target, Urban Outfitters, and SpaceNK.

At Peach and Lily, you will have exposure to all aspects of a business – including merchandising, inventory management, order fulfillment, customer service, digital marketing, PR relations, distribution to national retailers, content generation and brand building.

Availability: You must be available for a minimum of 20-30 hours a week and be able to work from our office in New York City with at least a 6-month commitment. Ideally, you will be able to work at Peach and Lily and grow a real skill set over the course of a full year.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assisting CEO with daily scheduling and preparation for all meetings and events – will require the ability to be strategic, prioritize and resourceful
• Working on specific branding initiatives – will require exceptional writing, editing, and content-building skill sets
• Prospecting and pitching new partnership opportunities – will require a can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative
• Support in negotiating, structuring and closing key deals – will require a willingness to learn, think creatively, and prepare strategic pitch content
• Organize and provide structure for the CEO in the midst of a very quickly growing company – will require detail orientation and ability to build structure
• Follow up with all PR-related issues and help ideate on pitches – will require responsibility and a sense of ownership as well as a great sense of business judgment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A strong desire to build a business and learn as much as possible about how to build and lead businesses
• Ability to think creatively and practically at the same time
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset

As the CEO Apprentice, you will work directly with Alicia Yoon on a daily basis. She will teach and mentor you – and work with you on building the right skill sets to successfully start and grow a business from just an idea to profitability and scalability.

Compensation: $8.75/hour, $250 worth of Peach and Lily beauty products per quarter and a tremendously rich learning experience.
