Overview

As an Account Executive, your role is to bring in new business and cultivate existing relationships. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be expected to consistently hit revenue targets by selling Nextpoint’s software and services.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong consultative sales approach, and a passion for the industry, acting as a trusted adviser throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts

  • Establish and maintain current client and prospective client relationships

  • Gain clear understanding of client’s business requirements

  • Educate clients on full breadth of solutions offered by Nextpoint

  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

  • Maintain a working knowledge of legal industry

  • Present an overview of Nextpoint’s platform in-person or via phone and web conference to law firms and corporations

  • Exceptional organization skills for managing and closing opportunities

  • Engage with senior level lawyers and technology prospects with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and follow-up

  • Prospecting, nurturing, and closing net new business opportunities

  • Meticulous sales pipeline management and documentation through Salesforce.com

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as a quota carrying sales representative

  • Experience in the legal industry and or/with Software-as-Service company preferred

  • Proven record of prospecting, nurturing, and closing net new business opportunities

  • Positive, pro-active attitude and work style

  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment

  • Teamwork and strong communication skills are a must

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com

  • BS/BA degree required
