Position Summary
Monitor 360 is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative, who loves an intellectual challenge and has a solid track record in lead generation or inside sales success. The Sales Development Representative will help Monitor 360 achieve aggressive targets of growing Narrative Analytics™ in the corporate market. Narrative Analytics™ is a break-through strategic process for helping organizations understand the narratives that most impact brands, companies, and industries. Monitor 360 helps clients analyze and shape narratives to their advantage, bringing clarity to their most complex problems. Monitor 360 serves premier clients including Salesforce.com, the Gates Foundation, VMware, and elite ranks of the US government.
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and identifying new client opportunities, setting appointments, and supporting campaigns, such as webinars. This is not a transactional environment, but a highly consultative one. As the company grows, there is a path for the Sales Development Representative to move into a Business Development role.
Primary Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed weekly targets for meetings set
Daily prospecting activities through channels, including email and telephone
Develop routine to maximize results and maintain a steady flow
Communicate regularly with sales and marketing, about the success of messaging, techniques, etc.
Create target lists and research prospects on LinkedIn
Develop, test, and fine-tune prospecting emails and other content
Follow up and qualify leads, inbound inquiries, and live chats
Requirements
US Citizen
Bachelor’s degree
2-3 years strong lead generation experience, preferably for a consulting firm, ad agency, or technology company
Experience prospecting to senior executives at Fortune 1000 companies
Experience and comfortable working in a start-up environment
Experience with Salesforce.com and other modern sales-focused tools
Exceptional communication, presentation, writing, and follow-up skills
Ability to listen and present targeted solutions
Ability to understand and handle objections with conviction
Intellectual curiosity and a passion for solving complex problems
