The Role:

Q is looking for an Operations Associate to join our New York City team. As Operations Associate, you will do whatever it takes to keep Q’s services up and running smoothly daily. You will be an integral part of the team, orchestrating day-to-day logistics—anything from managing our dispatch system to answering questions from our Operators, to working with our engineering team to build a new feature. You’ll have a significant impact on the happiness of our Operators and clients and see your work genuinely appreciated daily. You’ll engage with our Operators everyday to make sure they have everything they need to succeed and deliver on a 5-star quality service for our clients.  You’ll be a central part of our operations, coordinating between vendors, suppliers, Operators, and internal teams to keep everything sailing smoothly.

The Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations related to delivering  a 5-star quality for our clients and be the front line of communications with Operators

  • Be a passionate advocate for all Operators in NYC and answer any questions that come your way with grace and respect

  • Coordinate with the NYC team to problem solve on a daily basis while innovating ways to improve operations for Q overall

  • Collaborate with our client facing team to find the perfect match between Operators and Clients and monitor results to guarantee success

  • Work with the Q operations, engineering and design teams to help create or upgrade systems to make everyone’s experience, including your own, more seamless and enjoyable.

 

The Qualifications:

  • Must have have a Bachelors degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience

  • Literate Excel or another data management tool preferred, but not required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Bonus: Experience working with or managing hourly employees

  • Bonus: Experience in a high growth technology startup
