Overview
Position Summary:
Within the Operations Department – the LMS team is responsible for the administration and maintenance for the Learning Management System (LMS). The team is responsible for promoting eLearning best practices and building organizational capacity by supporting subject matter experts through the eLearning components on the LMS. Reporting to the Senior Learning Solutions Manager, the candidate will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the eLearning Program deliverables are aligned with the strategic directions of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Use consistent troubleshooting techniques to quickly and efficiently resolve issues escalated by the Level 2 team as required
- Utilize LMS best practices to identify the source of issues
- Properly document and track issues reported and resolutions
- Communicate with the leaders regarding current and on-going LMS issues
- Participate in the creation of end-user manuals, maintenance of troubleshooting procedures and documentation
- Proactively document and analyze issues for review and corrective action
- Provide training and on-boarding support to new team members as required
- Generate and compile operational reports for analysis
- Perform maintenance required to ensure that the LMS runs at optimal levels
- Handle miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as defined by management
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be fluent in Mandarin (oral & written communication)
- Knowledge of eLearning and LMS technology
- Minimum three years’ experience in a technical role dealing with complex LMS issues
- Excellent communication skills and able to convey a customer-focused attitude
- Experience in managing and prioritizing customer issues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to balance multiple areas of responsibilities as well as requests from multiple sources
- An interest in LMS improvement and development
- Works well in a team environment
- Open availability; able to work early mornings and weekends
Desired:
Database management experience
Experience with technical support & LMS Administration (2+ years)
Experience within the education industry
