Overview

We’re looking for sharp-minded number crunchers to help us make sense of the app industry. You’ll be responsible for working with complicated data sets to enable our users to learn more about the app store and bring them more value.

Responsibilities

• Slicing and dicing large amounts of data to find interesting insights and trends about the app industry
• Putting together engaging data visualizations and written reports
• Under guidance, producing insights on the app industry

Requirements

• College-level coursework in a stats/math related field
• Experience composing reports and visualizations from complex data sets
• Excellent spoken communication skills
• 1-2 years’ experience of technical writing and explaining complex subjects in accessible ways
• Experience with R or Matlab or Python (scripts/samples required)

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of database querying
• Understanding of econometrics
• The ability to write for a diverse audience
• You like diving into monstrous data sets
• You like the technology, the app industry and the mobile space
• You are naturally curious and like investigating interesting topics
