Summary

TheSAM / ITAM Associate Analyst role will support an IT Asset Management Program,which focuses on Software Asset Management for CBS. The role will leverage industry best practicesto assist in the management of license software entitlement using a variety ofsources to understand software usage, software contract information, and reportlicense metrics for compliance reporting.

Responsibilities:

·Establishappropriate metrics pertaining to software asset planning and softwarecompliance.

·Createrepository of purchased licenses and relevant software contracts, whichincludes acting as a system administrator for the IT Asset Management tool.

·Providesoftware usage analysis outlining potential efficiencies and cost savings.

·Initiateinternal audits to ensure compliance, handle end users licensing issues andcoordinate software retirement.

·Performanalysis and reporting of software installations and optimize softwarelicenses.

·Developworking relationships across IT, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Legal, andnecessary business units to support software asset management throughout itslifecycle.

·Interactwith others in the IT organization, including Hardware Asset Management and otherapplicable business units.

Qualifications:

Required:

Undergraduate degree required and equivalent work experience.

·Knowledgeof IT organizational structure.

·Knowledgeof ITAM and Software Asset Management (SAM) a plus

·Excellent analytical and communication (both verbal and written)skills.

·Skillsin compiling and analyzing large amounts of data from several sources.

·Strong relationship building skills.
