Summary:
Jibe is looking for talented QA Automation Engineers to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you should have an inherent will and desire to improve the quality of our software. You will partner with heads of Product and Client Experience to continuously evolve and refine our products.
Responsibilities:
- You should have a passion for breaking systems and be comfortable with fast turnarounds, rapid deployments, and quickly responding to surges
- This position is a combination of hands-on white box and automated testing in a fast-paced, agile environment
- You will write and maintain integration and front-end automation scripts that are embedded in the CI framework but also run as part of a regression suite
- Drive resolution of complex defects across multiple technology tiers and with geographically dispersed teams
- Design and lead technical efforts to streamline testing using latest automation and virtualization tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related degree
- Proficient in coding using any programming language (Java,C#,Ruby or any OOP language)
- Insatiable appetite for learning new technologies
- You learn really fast. You just get it
- Think outside the box and solve problems naturally
- Explain technology concepts in detail both in writing and verbally
- Great sense of humor
- Ability to work with others in a fast paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Solid presentation and communication skills
- Experience in a startup company
- Ability to work under minimal supervision while delivering on aggressive schedules
- Willingness to participate in architecture discussions with senior engineers to assure testability is designed into future releases
