Job Description:

We are actively hiring a full-time Java developer who wants to create something meaningful that will greatly impact people’s lives. The ideal candidate loves to tackle tough problems, is constantly searching for elegant solutions, and strives for excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering to ensure the highest standards and levels of security are met
  • Work closely with the Product team to ensure all of our client needs are met
  • Maintain and extend an existing production application
  • Build and design light-weight analytic and administration dashboards
  • Extend and maintain multiple HL7 interfaces
  • Fine-tune the application stack to sustain peak performance
  • Anticipate and start planning the next generation of software products

 

What You Need:

  • 2+ years of Java development
  • The right combination of experience in most of these technologies and a desire to master them all (most desirable listed first):
    • JEE architecture (specifically EJB 3+) or SPRING o JSF (PrimeFaces a plus)
    • Javascript libraries (JQuery, Angularjs is a plus)
    • Hibernate
    • Spring Security
    • HL7 message parsing
    • CDI
    • Maven 3
    • Testing frameworks (Arquillian is a plus) o AWS infrastructure
    • ESB (JBoss, Mule)
    • Push technologies (e.g. Atmosphere)
