Overview

Intermediate level PC/Networking guru wanted to analyze, troubleshoot, repair and maintain computer systems and peripherals at a dynamic, fast-paced start-up.

Position

• Provide prompt hardware/software support for all personal computers, servers, switches, routers, printers and other peripherals critical to proper function of IT systems and services
• Implement any new systems as required; installation, documentation and training of end-users
• Ensure the proper management, availability and upgrades of IT application systems and services
• Set-up new desktops, laptops, applications and other information systems in a timely manner to support gradual improvement of IT functions
• Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory in a Windows domain environment

Requirements

• 1-3+ years experience in a computer/networking installation or support role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT-related field or equivalent in education, training, certifications (A+, Net+, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, etc…) and/or work experience
• Working experience with:
  • Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
  • Windows Server in a domain environment, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Productivity tools (MS Office, DropBox, Google Drive, etc. . .)
  • Helpdesk applications
  • Cloud Applications
  • Network/Systems Monitoring systems
• Some experience working with audio editing software and equipment is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; other actions include bending, stooping and standing for extended periods while performing equipment repair
• Must be self-motivated and willing to work some nights, weekends and rotating holidays
