Overview

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an experienced senior product manager to join the Instart Logic product management team. This role will be specifically focused on being a champion of great usability across the entire product line. We are looking for someone that has a passion for working with users to understand their needs and working with designers and developers to deliver amazing user experiences. This person will have the charter to work closely with the external users (customers, prospects, partners) and internal users (support, operations, professional services) to understand their use of the product and drive ongoing improvements to product usability. We want this person to be the driver for delighting our users with simple, beautiful, and functional user interfaces and APIs.

The ideal candidate will be someone that has a wealth of experience with product usability including web based user interfaces and APIs.

REQUIREMENTS:​

• 3+ years of product management experience driving usability improvements into an established product with a web based interface

• Ability to interview users, understand their requirements and workflows to tease out blockers to simpler use of products and opportunities to improve the product usability

• Experience working with UI/UX team including designers and developers to deliver amazing product experiences.

• Experience working with developers and devops customers around their use of APIs

• Prior experience at a startup will be key and an entrepreneurial mindset since we are a startup you are the team

• Excellent written and verbal skills are essential, including presenting to large audiences in public speaking scenarios

• Ability to communicate concisely to all levels from CEO to software engineers

• Aptitude to work independently with little daily direction in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent customer listening and presentation skills

• Strong competitive and market analysis skills

• Bachelor’s degree with a technical discipline a big plus
