As we continue to grow the business, we will also look to expand our sales efforts. The sales manager will be responsible for increasing revenue, expanding our client base and increasing the volume of event rentals. You will own our CRM of incoming sales leads, conduct inside sales calls with clients that have inquired about the product and further develop the relationship with existing clients. As you become more comfortable with the product, there will be some outside sales and travel opportunities as well, including on-site client demos and industry events.
The sales manager will be a key contributor to rolling our product out locally in new markets. This will require researching and evaluating specific markets, designing a roll-out plan and undertaking the sales efforts required to pave the way for new business.
You will also work closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for our clients.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Have at least 2 years of prior sales experience (ideally in the tech or events industries) with a proven track record for success
Be incredibly personable, outrageously organized and just a plain ol’ good person
Experience using a CRM to track leads and interpret and analyze sales data
Strong negotiating skills
Enthusiastic about problem solving
Be eager to stand behind a new and exciting product
Deep understanding of social media and how brands utilize it to drive sales
Have a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for ways to improve our product, sales process and overall business
