Role and Responsibilities

In order to provide the most efficient service possible to our customers, SMS Assist is seeking a technical expert in the area of HVAC/Refrigeration  to provide technical expertise to our internal employees and our customers.   This is an office based position that does not generally require hands-on work/repair.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert and resource for Operations/Customer Service Managers in our Facilities Department
  • Prepare, review, and approve quotes and invoices for facilities maintenance work (pricing, scope, etc.).
  • Serve as key point of contact and able to resolve contract issues with affiliates/contractors

  • Technical expert in HVAC/Refrigeration
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts with contractors/affiliates
  • Ability to source, onboard, and train new affiliates
  • Ability to review and approve quotes and invoices
  • Strong verbal communication/negotiation skills

  • Ability to develop relationships with affiliates

Experience and Education

  • Hands-on technical expertise in the field
  • Work experience in facilities maintenance
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus

We are looking for candidates interested in the following shifts:

Weekends:

Friday – Monday 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Friday – Monday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Friday – Monday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
