Overview

The HR Director will work closely with the ZeroCater executive team to help create and maintain the company policies and best practices. The successful candidate will be an advocate to the company and drive initiatives that are in line with the HR strategy, company’s strategic priorities, and core values. This is the 1st in-house HR position at ZeroCater. Startup experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop HR infrastructure including all HR processes, policies and procedures
    • Direct administration of Benefits, Payroll, 401k and employee services
    • Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current and competitive
    • Conduct onboarding, offer letter generation, and terminations
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with management and key internal cross-functional stakeholders
    • Develop HR/people-oriented programs to positively impact company growth
    • Develop employment and compliance practices
    • Design and implement performance management and improvement systems
    • Maintain a compensation plan through salary surveys, job evaluations, budget preparations, and structure revisions
    • Complete special projects as assigned by Executive Management

About you:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related degree
    • 4+ years of HR experience, exposure to HR functions, and general office management experience
    • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for ZeroCater’s mission
    • Scrappy and resourceful problem solver
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills
    • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
    • Ability and desire to work with employees at all levels in the organization
    • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with a high degree of initiative
    • A “roll up your sleeves and get it done” mentality with an ambitious attitude and attention to detail
    • Exceptional organization skillsStartup experience highly preferred
