Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with key client decision makers. Our client decision makers are usually very technical, and you will need to be able to speak their language
  • Ensure Client satisfaction with ongoing projects
  • Represent client goals internally to all stakeholders and ensure client needs are being met
  • Ensure alignment and partnership between Thumbtack and the client is maintained throughout lifecycle of projects
  • Maintain and improve profitability (controlling scope/change order management)
  • Strategically plan to pre-sell future engagements and additional services

Requirements:

  • Dual Bachelor’s Degree in MIS and Business, or equivalent experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset. We know what we need here, and we know why we need it, but we need you to build this department and make it awesome
  • Minimum of 6 years of in Account Management for Technical Services with a quantifiable history of progressively increased responsibility and results
  • Proven track record expanding business through cultivating working relationships with Senior Technical Executives, such as CTOs and CIOs
  • Experience achieving results within globally distributed companies a plus
