Overview
We are seeking talented, competitive, highly energetic individuals. Our B2B sales professionals are responsible for selling our solutions to high-level individuals in the software industry. The role involves engaging vendors via email, phone, and in person. After engagement, the sales professional should be able to build a relationship and walk vendors through the G2 Crowd process.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of proven sales track record exceeding quota and daily metrics. The work environment fosters learning and creativity to become a career launch pad into other roles at G2 Crowd.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meeting and exceeding individual sales quota goals
Prospecting and calling leads within an assigned software category and conducting tailored, web-based presentations over the phone to explain our platform
Driving revenue by effectively engaging the vendors and closing accounts over the phone
Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota
Be a social master and learn the tools for the future
Becoming a subject matter expert by researching industry trends and best practices, reading applicable publications and blogs, and speaking to vendors
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
2-4 years consultative sales experience
Strong ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships over the phone
Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills
Like presenting new ideas and getting to “Yes”
Technologies focused thinking and enjoy learning about it
Desire to learn about high-tech/software/social
Fast learner and can work independently
