We are looking for a Frontend Engineer for our Product Delivery Team who is passionate about code craftsmanship, continuous improvement and agile development. We need elegant solutions to the most complex challenges. Experience crafting applications using Backbone or other Javascript MVC frameworks is a must. We are a dynamic, innovative team building a global real-time platform utilizing latest technologies like LESS, Angular, Backbone and NodeJS for our main application.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with a collaborative, agile team.
Contribute scalable software artifacts that are easy to understand and simple to maintain.
Debug/resolve HTML/JavaScript/PHP/Java issues
Annual northern expeditions where you will save baby seals
Contribute to a state of the art single page application using cutting-edge build tools.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have Skills:

Experience with JavaScript frameworks like BackBone, Ember, and Angular
Developing for desktop and mobile browsers (IE8+)
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript
Experience using Javascript Test Suites like Mocha, or Jasmine
Knowledge of RESTful APIs

Nice to have:

Experience with LESS CSS
Experience implementing high-performance web application interfaces with HTML 5 APIs
Contributions to open-source or personal projects
Experience with highly available systems such as Kafka, Storm, Trident, Cassandra, HBase, Zookeeper, Hadoop, Spark, Shark
