Overview

Core Responsibilities

  • Communicating and building relationships and trust with the client locations and regional management
  • Delivering  Vendor Quality Control programs within the region
  • Reading, Understanding and Implementing detailed facilities maintenance Scopes of Work and Service Level Agreements
  • Issue Resolution with the customer
  • Conducting Service Validations
  • Training and guidance to vendors as required
  • Guidance and feedback to SMS Management
  • Quality Control Reports
  • Vendor score cards
  • Resolving customer problems by applying resources as necessary
  • Conducting site surveys for various trades and services
  • Appropriate customer level engagement and entertainment
  • Attending Client District Management Meetings
  • Conducting training and presentations concerning scope of work to store personnel

Key Competencies

  • Capable of working independently
  • Strong Team Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and in person with Vice Presidents and District Managers of Multi Unit Enterprises in various retail corporations.
  • Working knowledge of negotiation skills and techniques.
  • Able to utilize Disc Profile Tools.

Education & Experience

  • Trade qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Retail experience or experience servicing retailers is highly desired
  • Strong multi-unit enterprise facilities management experience preferred in the following skills:
    • Landscaping
    • Irrigation
    • Snow-Ice Programs
    • Interior and exterior facilities management
    • Janitorial Services

Travel and Schedule Requirements

  • Must be able to travel extensively within assigned geographic regions, including overnight travel
  • Extensive driving requirements within geographic region
  • Must be able to travel nationwide on short notice on a limited basis
  • Must have excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license*
  • Must be capable of working nights and weekends as requirements dictate
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule hours and days as requirements dictate

Physical requirements

  • Must be capable of working outside in supervisory-inspection capacity in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to climb ladders and perform roof top maintenance inspection tasks
  • Must be capable of working extended hours during critical weather situations
  • Must be capable of extensive driving (day, night and inclement) and commercial air travel
