1. Complete profit-and-loss responsibility including achieving revenue and gross margin goals and hitting profitability targets.
2. Develop and ensure successful execution of the office business plan, including planning and implementation of operations, personnel, marketing, customer service, and accounting programs and initiatives designed to attain office objectives.
3. Create, manage and drive annual budget to meet or exceed financial targets, including projecting and managing revenue and course enrollment, cost of sales, advertising, and G&A expenses.
4. Exceed top and bottom line budget numbers and ensure Net Promoter numbers are steadily improving and reaching acceptable levels.
5. Analyze enrollment and revenue, identify problem areas, and create and execute improvement strategies.
6. Execute marketing initiatives, promotions, campaigns, and events as directed by National Marketing and as developed within the office.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, colleges, and institutions within the area.
8. Set objectives and manage staff through strong leadership; create a respectful environment in which employees can grow, express their opinions and ideas, are focused on attaining key objectives, and feel a sense of satisfaction with their job and TPR.
9. Oversee part-time teacher recruiting, hiring, and training processes, to ensure appropriate resources exist to adequately staff our programs with high quality instructors; monitor final evaluations and NP ratings to track teacher and tutor performance, and take appropriate action to deal with underperformers.
10. Oversee timely staffing of all courses and tutoring assignments; ensure adequate and cost effective course enrollment levels in accordance with TPR standards.
11. Ensure responsiveness to the customer and identify areas for improvements in service, staffing and operations that will increase customer satisfaction and affect national product offerings.
12. Direct all local accounting initiatives to keep accounts receivable under 60 days and bad debt below budgeted levels. Accrue expenses as appropriate, regularly review financials and work with accounting to correct discrepancies.
1. Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
2. At least four years of management experience in a service-oriented environment
3. Strong entrepreneurial and competitive spirit
4. Excellent management, leadership and organizational skills
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
6. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
7. Ability to work in multiple computer databases and possess proficient skills in MS Office
8. Willingness to travel when necessary
9. Strong desire to learn and grow within the organization
