Overview

As an ESL/EFL Content Writer, the individual will be part of a curriculum development team responsible for building, developing and maintaining both online education materials and lesson plans. The candidate will develop and support online real-time teaching delivery: present information to targeted groups and partner with Academic Operations Management to control teaching performance and to reach GVE educational goals. Additionally, the individual will be part of an academic training team responsible for the implementation of GVE Tutors training program.

Responsibilities:

Provide support and advice in creating the overall learning content for GVE online education platform

Work closely with Educational Consultants to get thorough understanding of the existing curriculum and the learning cycles of target audiences

Identify cultural elements integrated to language learning

Design learning scopes and lesson plans for online real-time speaking classes

Coordinate learning experiences within GVE e-Learning platform and GVE tutors

Partner with Academic Operations Management team to create teaching

performance evaluation criteria and provide training for language tutors accordingly

Skills and Experience:

Required:

Must have an academic background in Education

Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching ESL

Previous experience of developing curriculum and lesson plans

Proven skills in verbal and written communication

Strong English language skills (written & oral)

Passionate about language education

Desired:

Experience teaching English overseas

Knowledge of the fundamentals of web-based-training instructional design

Experience in training and managing teachers
