VMTurbo is a unique company in the virtualization management software space. As we continue to grow at a rate of 300% year over year, the Pre-Sales Engineering group is looking candidates that are ready to take on an exciting challenge in their careers. Our sales engineers wear many hats, including: sales opportunity manager, product demo master, pre-sales consultant, and communication conduit between engineering, product management, and customers/prospects. We work hard, but we have a lot of fun in the process. We’re looking to hire a motivated, collaborative, and ambitious Enterprise Sales Engineer to drive opportunities and customer engagements. VMTurbo offers customers a way to arrive at software defined control through our patented Economic Scheduling Engine which allows them to assure VM and Application Quality of Service while driving their environments to the most efficient state. This is an exciting time to join VMTurbo, as our customer base is growing quickly.  This position require previous Sales Engineering Experience as well as understanding of Virtualization as you will be working with Enterprise class customers helping them understand and demonstrate the value of VMTurbo.
  • Act as a dedicated technical resource for assigned sales region
  • Conduct product demonstrations to new prospects
  • Conduct proof of concepts
  • Gather technical requirements and prove that VMTurbo solves their challenges
  • Work with Sales Teams  to assist in driving revenue and quota retirement
  • Address pre-sales technical questions
  • Meet weekly with engineering and product management to provide feedback
  • Build technical documentation for  proof of concept results
  • Assist in quarterly technical reviews with engineering

Required skills

  • Strong affinity for customer interactions
  • Passion for Technology and hands on experience
  • Understanding of Virtualization Management
  • Loves presenting to  and conversing with customers;
  • Ability to deliver technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science a plus but not required
  • Previous experience in a pre-sales role and Virtualization experience
