Our Toronto-based start-up is looking for a talented Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in the downtown core.  With a passionate, experienced team of experts in the space, we are putting together a team to change the landscape in our niche market.


The Administrative Assistant role is for a passionate candidate with a natural tendency towards organization and improvement.  This role coordinates all administrative functions, arranges meetings including invitations, prepares agendas, and ensures required meeting materials developed and approved; occasional minute taking, location set up, catering requirements and video/teleconference support.  Your ability to multi-task is critical as you will manage a large amount of data on a daily basis; including travel arrangements; maintains appointment schedules and calendars.




  • Responsible for creating, promoting and executing marketing campaigns nationally

  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver effective programs; campaign development, integration and messaging alignment

  • Campaign and project management – responsible for overseeing all aspects of campaign management including generating clear and strategic agency briefs, managing creative approvals, overseeing campaign logistics and deployment, collecting and analyzing results

  • Develop internal and external materials and communications, including writing copy (customer centric presentations, brochures, sales tools)

  • Provide clear creative feedback and work collaboratively to develop strategies to ensure campaign success




  • Excellent verbal, writing, communication and presentation skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment; collaborate effectively in situations without formal influence/work confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives in the portfolio and work within an environment of rapid change and shifting priorities

  • Dependable, reliable and able to set performance goals and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrated project management, time management and organizational skills


Required Professional Designation/Certification:


A degree is required; preference will be given to degrees in Marketing/Business or a related field


Required Experience:


  • Minimum 2 years’ direct experience in a marketing and/or corporate communications, or strategic planning role

  • Experience working with, or in a creative agency


Salary range: Commensurate with experience
