Job Description:

Do you know your Agatha Christie inside and out? Are you addicted to big, doorstop biographies? Look no further! BookBub seeks a talented individual with knowledge of mysteries, thrillers, and/or nonfiction to help curate and produce content for our fast-growing community of book lovers. Responsibilities include:

• Selecting books that would be appealing to the BookBub audience
• Helping produce and edit the daily content for the service
• Guiding editorial team decisions based on knowledge of readers’ tastes, publishing trends, and internal data

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates for the position will have:

• Knowledge and enthusiasm for mysteries, thrillers, or nonfiction
• Outstanding professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excitement for a fast-paced, rapidly changing start-up environment where work can occasionally get chaotic and be required at off hours
• 1-3 years of experience or demonstrated interest in publishing or book selling a plus
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
