Overview
Responsibilities
- Work with the product and sales teams to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, set marketing priorities, and refine product pricing, positioning, and service composition
- Own planning and execution of the marketing strategy
- Spearhead lead generation efforts (including SEO, marketing campaigns, and website) to increase top of the funnel leads and opportunities
- Oversee and drive the social media channel and digital content development, writing and management
- Find, assess, and secure PR opportunities that drive growth and awareness
- Identify and execute event / conference opportunities, sponsorship, and speaking engagements
- Work with our design and sales teams to create effective marketing communications materials including design elements, case studies, executive summaries, and infographics
- Measure the impact and effectiveness across all marketing channels
Requirements
- A proven track record of defining marketing strategies, implementing plans, and constantly measuring to increase conversion rates in the digital media/enterprise software industry
- Excellent writing skills with expertise in crafting press releases, case studies and effective messaging while maintaining a consistent voice across all content
- A deep understanding of how to communicate and add value to a customer base through blogs, forums, social media, and other social channels
- Creativity and the ability to weave new ideas and concepts into the brand and messaging
- Knowledge of how to use SEO and digital marketing strategies to drive leads to our site
- Strong understanding of social media and all relevant channels
- A history of defining marketing KPIs, measuring marketing efforts, and aggressively managing to results of the measurements
- An internal drive to know what needs to be done and operate with urgency, focus and discipline while remaining resourceful on a startup sized budget
- Undergraduate degree required
- Design skills a plus (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
