Overview
We are looking for a talented back-end engineer to work on our real-time natural language processing based educational assessment service. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Design and update the secure scalable web service API
- Data pipeline workflow optimization
- Write scripts and tools to analyze the usage data
- System maintenance and address the customer requests
- Contribute to technical documentation of data analysis systems, solutions and results
Desired Qualifications:
- BS or MS in computer science or related discipline
- 2+ Years of experience working in back-end web service engineering with RESTful API
- Experience programming in Rails, Sinatra
- Proficiency with Databases, Ruby, Python, Shell scripting, Git, AWS EC2
- Server design and configuration with load balancing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with natural language processing or machine learning is a plus
