Application Software Developer

 

The role is a hands on design and coding role at a rapidly growing company. Cambridge Select will be the most dominant force on the world’s most dominant marketplace, leveraging a scalable, low-cost platform that can transform eCommerce. We are developing in-house Business Intelligence and Quantitative Marketing applications.

We are looking for a skilled developer who wants to build software that changes the industry, solve tough problems in novel ways and work on a small, highly efficient team. In this startup environment, you will have plenty of creative control throughout the design & development process.

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high quality disruptive software technology for a hard-working and passionate purchasing and shipping team.

 

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

·         Experience in delivering high-quality software under the .NET platform using C#

·         3+ years of professional experience in commercial software development and delivery

·         Solid foundation of computer science fundamental data structures and algorithms

·         Understanding of relational database management operating concepts

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures and algorithms

·         Enthusiasm in working on projects independently within an open project environment

·         Possess strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving skills

·         Proficient in network, distributed, asynchronous and concurrent programming

·         Previous experience with PostgreSQL RDBMS

·         A passion for delivering high quality software on time

·         Understanding of storage performance challenges and their solutions

·         Experience building and operating scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems

·         Ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment

Compensation:

$75,000+ annual compensation plus equity.
