The Role

Business Development Executives (BDEs) play the critical role of driving revenue growth in DialedIN by prescriptively matching and positioning the right solutions for a customer. The BDE is a target driven business development role, which involves face-to-face solution selling with Executive level contacts at new and existing customers. BDEs ensure Customers For Life by providing thought leadership and transformational solution approaches. The BDE will position the unique value proposition of DialedIN and will leverage their knowledge of their customer’s business, cloud technology, and project / program delivery best practices.

The best BDE candidates can effectively create and run their own book of business within their region by pro-actively and adaptively applying strategic business development and relationship management acumen. Candidates must have personally demonstrated prescriptive solution selling experience, including developing account strategies, providing strong leadership and hands-on participation in strategic engagements.

Responsibilities

Strong sales and business development skills

  • Drive revenue by building an opportunity pipeline and achieving monthly and quarterly bookings quota for their territory and accounts.

  • Accurately develop, forecast and close business within their territory.

  • Manage all phases of the business development cycle, including proposal development, scoping and estimating, and negotiating Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work (SOW’s).

  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit consulting solutions around those specific needs.

  • Proven track record of driving repeat business across a portfolio of accounts (customer satisfaction, up-sell, cross-sell, etc.).

Strong relationship building, collaboration, and communication skills

  • Build effective relationships and communicate effectively at all client levels, including the Executive level.

  • Collaborate effectively with account and partner teams; leverage subject matter experts for pre- and post-sales strategy.

  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to DialedIN.

  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process.

  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business and drive deeper, strategic interactions between the client and DialedIN.

Account Leadership

  • Proactively mitigate and manage select escalations and at-risk accounts; communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external leaders and executives.

  • Maintain healthy, active executive level relationships with key customers to ensure open and transparent communications while developing a trusted advisor status.

  • Leverage experience with full project delivery life cycles to ensure delivery best practices and customer success.

Personal Brand

  • Proactively approach the market segment through active participation in industry and community organizations.

  • Strong personal brand and contributor within the industry, including speaker at industry events and author/contributor to industry relevant content.

 

Previous Experience & Skills

  • Experience growing accounts with large projects pursuits ($250k+).

  • Demonstrated ability to connect relationally with both technical and line of business executives.

  • Excellent executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.

  • Experience negotiating large contracts, working through conflicts and facilitating joint legal conversations.

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% depending on account portfolio and territory.

  • Cloud experience preferred.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in business, marketing, finance, or similar concentrations.

  • 5+ years of enterprise application solution sales experience with a proven record of successfully exceeding quota.
