Busy Soho-based startup seeks an experienced and highly organized part-time bookkeeper who has a creative background or interest in creative industries.  QuickBooks expertise a must.  (Approx. 25 hours/week)

You will be working in a open-space Soho loft within a young team of nine women who love what they do.  We are a fast-paced, fast-growing luxury business. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Accounts receivable; must be aggressive, yet courteous with collection
  • Accounts payable, including resolution of payable issues with vendors
  • Maintenance of client contracts; customer service regarding fees billed
  • Problem-solving of any account-related issues
  • Expense tracking; meticulous maintenance of all receipts and invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of budgets, projections and financial reports for founders
  • Liaise with CPA
  • Monthly soft-close
  • Additional responsibilities as needed


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly detail-oriented with superb time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to follow through on multiple projects with minimal supervision within a creative environment
  • Proficient in Mac OS, QuickBooks, Excel, and GoogleDocs
