Roles & Responsibilities

·       Design the database structure according to project requirements

·       Design and implement features in Python (Django)

·       Write clean, well-engineered, maintainable code that conforms with accepted standards and test web applications

·       Communicate effectively with project managers, technical leads, and team members

·       Identify opportunities for process improvement and make suggestions for change

·       Understand the goals and strategy behind each project from conception to completion

Who we are looking for:

·       3 years of development experience with Python (Django a plus)

·       Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

·       Experience with AWS

·       Development experience with Javascript

·       Able to design efficient and scalable databases

·       Very good knowledge of JSON, REST, HTTP protocol, Web Services

·       Familiar with HTML, CSS, AJAX, SASS/LESS

·       Excellent skills to solve technical problems

·       Self-motivated, and able to multi-task

·       Able to make and assume technical decisions. Doer, not follower

It would be a plus if you have also:

·       Management experience

·       A drive for self-improvement

·       Able to take initiative, to be productive and efficient

·       Experience with version control software (preferably Git)

·       Experience with Agile methodologies

·       Experience with multiple backend development frameworks
